John C. Tsunis, Chairman/CEO

Mr. Tsunis has been an attorney since 1977, specializing in real estate, land use, commercial transactions, and banking law, with a subspecialty in hotels and restaurants. He currently serves as Chairman of Gold Coast Bank in Islandia, New York. He was formerly Vice Chairman and general counsel to Long Island Commercial Bank in Islandia, New York and a member of its board of directors and executive and loan committees. Mr. Tsunis has invested in hotels since 1987, and he built and opened the first “Express” franchise for Holiday Inn in 1991.

 

Mr. Tsunis earned his Judicial Degree from Syracuse University College of Law in 1975 and is a graduate of New York University (1973) with Honors in Banking and Finance. His community activities include serving as Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Long Island Museum in Stony Brook; Touro Law School Board of Visitors, Past President of the Three Village Chamber of Commerce, which encompasses Stony Brook, Setauket, and East Setauket; Director of the New York State Hospitality and Tourism Association in Albany; and Past Director of Long Island Convention and Visitors Bureau.

 

John A. Danzi , Principal

 

John joined Oxford Resources Corp., in 1979 when it commenced automobile leasing operations, developing the business plan that served as the foundation for the company's future success. As its president, John was responsible for implementing all corporate policies, monitoring operations, and directing senior management to promote stabilized growth and accomplish the company's corporate mission. In 1993, Oxford became a publicly traded automobile leasing company that operated across the continental United States. Oxford later became part of the Bank of America Auto Group.

 

Always involved in not-for-profit institutions throughout Long Island, John served as chairman of the Thomas Hartman Foundation for Parkinson's Reasearch and has supported and served on the boards of a wide range of charities, including the Long Island Association, the Center for Developmental Disabilities, the Christian Nursing Hospice, St. Joseph's College, the Long Island Museum of American Art, History & Carriages, and Tomorrow's Hope Foundation.

 

 

Richard C. Erb, Executive Vice President/CFO

 

Richard brings over 25 years of accounting experience to the company. Prior to joining the company, he held the position of Controller for Bradford & Reed, Inc., a privately held advertising company, where he supervised all facets of financial reporting and assisted in the operations of the Company.

 

 

Mr. Erb has over 7 years of Public accounting experience, both with Holtz Rubenstein & Co. in Melville and Ernst and Young in Manhattan. He is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in the State of New York. He holds a Bachelor Science in Accounting from the State University of New York College at Geneseo.
